You can find this information by going to www.rrb.gov and click on NRRIT. There you can print out the quarterly reports, the last one being December 31, 2008. Keep in mind that your benefits are guaranteed by federal statute and under the enactment of the Railroad Retirement & Survivors Act of 2001, any major drop in the Trust Fund below a four-year ceiling of benefits, the railroads are required to pick up any deficit, not the employee or the retiree. |
